Mindful Mala Making

Mala are a set of 108 beads, crafted of natural materials, set with a personal intention, used for meditation and worn or carried as a reminder of your practice and intention. Many cultures hold versions of necklaces sacred (think rosary and lei); Hindus, Buddhists and yogis are no different.

Though many yogis purchase a pre-made set, in this workshop you will make your own mala, setting it with an intention unique to you as you tie each knot with purpose. We will practice asanas, meditate and work to create our mala.

This workshop will include one mala making kit and hands-on instruction, some light asana yoga and techniques for meditating with your mala.

Once you have registered, send a message to Mohalu to select your mala style (styles are on the Facebook event or email info@mohaluwellness.com if you don't have Facebook). Only one or two versions of each style are available so register early to get your choice of mala.
